For years I have been drawn to wild places. When I was younger, it was mainly to trek, climb, mountain bike and kayak. Whilst work led me to live in the city, for enjoyment I chose to escape the crowds and head for the hills.
More recently I have come to appreciate, not just the landscapes of wild places, but also the wildlife that lives there. I took up photography, which has added a new dimension to my enjoyment of travelling in, and experiencing, wilderness areas.
